Jon Bourdon

Jon Bourdon is a seasoned trial attorney and the co-founder of Bourdon & Tortolero. Jon focuses exclusively on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support cases. Licensed to practice in both Virginia and Washington, D.C., Jon brings a wealth of litigation experience to his practice, providing strategic guidance to clients facing complex family law challenges, including divorce, child custody, and support issues.

Before co-founding Bourdon & Tortolero, Jon gained extensive legal experience across various fields. He began his legal career at the Alexandria Public Defender’s Office, where he focused on criminal and domestic violence cases. This early work gave him valuable insight into the legal system and sharpened his ability to advocate for clients in high-stakes situations.

Jon’s diverse background also includes managing a law firm in Washington, D.C., where he handled family law, immigration, and criminal matters, with a significant emphasis on divorce and child custody cases. His experience managing a broad range of legal issues has given him a deep understanding of the complex dynamics that families face during legal disputes.

A graduate of the Catholic University of America School of Law, Jon also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross. His prior service as a U.S. Marine officer and work as a defense contractor in Northern Virginia have further reinforced his disciplined approach to legal representation.
